Welcome to the official homepage of the World Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun Kung Fu Association.  This page was launched in January 2004 to inform the world and martial arts community about the history and traditions of this unique style of Wing Chun Kung Fu.  We are all very happy that Grandmaster Gee has decided to share this information with the general public.

 

Simultaneous attack and defense...

Hung Fa Yi is a complete self defense system unique unto itself.  The beauty of the system is its simplicity, efficiency and effectiveness.  Using positioning, timing and energy flow, a Hung Fa Yi practitioner can successfully defend himself/herself against a larger opponent.  The value of the system is in the knowledge of how to deal  with energy and its application to all of aspects of one's daily life.

For over three centuries, this branch of Wing Chun has been hidden and was once only taught within the halls of the Shaolin Monasteries.  Sifu Garrett Gee is the eighth generation disciple of the Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun System taught under Grandmaster Dr. Wang Ming.  The opening of Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun Kuen disciple, Sifu Gee has decided to pass on his knowledge to those dedicated students who have the qualities of a true martial artist.  He ensures that each student receives personalized, quality training in order to develop skills necessary for effective self defense.
